They became the parents of Hardin and Billy Winkler.
Henry Beasley was born Oct 15, 1855 and died Feb 5, 1929. He was the son of Calvin
and Susan Gregory Beasley Their picture is shown on this website. Susan was the daughter of
Big Tom and Betty Gregory. Henry was the younger brother of Jesse Beasley also shown on this website.
Bettie Beasley, (Jan 28, 1897 - ?), married Bell Winkler and later Hargis Butler. She
Sarah "Alice" Taylor, born Apr 27, 1860 and died Oct 18, 1952, holds her daughter,
Lena Dortch Beasley. Lena was born Apr 19, 1899 and died Jun 6, 1944 and was

Fredrick Sloan. Thellie became the mother of Oval Sloan(later Pleasant Shade School teacher and
owner / operator of Sloan Brothers Store shown on this website), Clyde, Henry (pictured on this
website in the Hugh Hackett family), Betty Alice (died at age three) and Dwight (father of Beth Sloan Wilburn).
Calvin Beasley was born Jan 25, 1884 and died Mar 6, 1957. He was married to Neal Towns
and became the father of Lillie Mae. Neal Towns was the daughter of Benjamin Ellis And Mary Gregory Towns

became the mother of Gene Radford (longtime pharmacist at Carthage) and Joe Beasley Oldham.
