What is significant? (1) William Arnett’s 1847
32 acre land grant on Peyton’s Creek from the State of Tennessee. (2)
The description of the land parcel begins “at a Birch marked “W.A.”
[NOTE: The 1832 William Arnet land deed
begins at a birch marked “W.A.” This
suggests (a) this parcel is co-located with the 1832 farm, or (b) he marked
both farms with a tree initialed “W.A.”
(3) The deed mentions William
Porter. Co-located with his farm?
NOTE: A “pole”
is 16.5 feet.
