She was 72. A native of Sequatchie County, Tenn., she had lived in the East Ridge and Chattanooga area for most of her life. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Rossville. She was preceded in death by her husband, <strong>Marion H. Burnette<\/strong>; son, <strong>Timothy Burnette<\/strong>. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, <strong>David and Terri Burnette, Richard L. Burnette,<\/strong> all of Dayton, Tenn.; grandson, <strong>Brian D. Burnette<\/strong> of Chattanooga, Tenn. Services: Thursday, Sept. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Chaplain John McCarty officiating. Visitation: Thursday, Sept. 16, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
