I will be glad to help anyone researching John Heard and Nancy Wallis who are related to the above James H. Heard. I descend from John and Nancy’s daughter, Elizabeth, who married Joseph Davis. The Heard family has been traced back to 1720’s PA where they settled the land which had been given to William Penn.
I am a great granddaughter of James Houston Hears. My grandmother, Susan Isabell Heard Barker was his daughter. Her son James Daniel (Dan) Barker was my Dad.
I am the great great great granddaughter of James Houston Heard. My great granny Charline Heard just passed away age 94, Feb 21, 2023 and her father was his son, Creed Heard.
