ARMSTEAD BLEVINS, born 1820, died 1897, was the son of JONATHAN BLEVINS and SARAH MINTON, his second wife, JONATHAN’s first wife was KATY TROXEL.

HELEN TERRY, b. 1836, was the daughter of ELIJAH and SARA TERRY. She was the second wife of ARMSTEAD BLEVINS. Their children were:

HELEN’s stepson, JOHN, married her younger sister, SUREPTO (or SUPERTIA). They had eight children. HELEN’s sister, EMILY JANE, became the second wife of HENLEY BLEVINS, brother of ARMSTEAD. There were no children by this marriage.
KATY TROXEL, old JONATHAN’s first wife, was allegedly the daughter of "Big Jake" TROXELL and the Indian woman known as PRINCESS CORNBLOSSOM.
ELIJAH TERRY was a brother of JOSIAH TERRY. They came to Oneida around 1815. JOSIAH owned land which is now Oneida; ELIJAH owned land which is now West Oneida (or Stumptown).
ELIJAH, the youngest brother, was born in 1791. He and his first wife, SALLY RICE FOSTER, had three children. SALLY does not appear in any records after the 1830 census.
In the early 1830s, ELIJAH married SARAH BAKER. ELIJAH and SARAH had several children, namely:
