This Indenture made the nineteenth day of October in the year of our Lord  one thousand eight hundred and eight between James Sanders of the County of Sumner and State of Tennessee of the one part and James Gibson of the County  of Smith and State of Tennessee of the other part witnesseth that the said James Sanders for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars to  him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged  [ ] and by  these presents doth grant bargain sell deliver [ ] and confirm unto the said  James Gibson his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land  containing five hundred and forty acres lying and being in the County of  Rutherford on Bradley's Creek.  Beginning at [two or live] sagwood  V'ettulberry in William Peterson's line South three hundred and seventy  poles to John Donelson's line West with his line fi[] his corner poplar in  all two hundred and sevety poles to a stake thence north three hundred and  twenty poles to a stake East to the beginning  containing five hundred and  forty acres be the same more or less....

This Indenture made this nineteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven, between Saml Gibson of the county of Rutheford and State of Tennessee of the one part and William Gibson of the county and state aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollard in hand paid, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, hath bargained, sold, aliened and confimed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien and confirm, unto the said William Gibson his heirs and ssignes forever all that tract or parcel of land lying & being in the county of Rutherford and State aforesaid, and on the waters of Bradley's Creek it being the place where the said Sam'l Gibson now lives.  Beginning at the North East corner of the original survey at a Mulberry & Dogwood, thence South with the original boundary sixty poles to a stake, thence west two hundred and seventy pols to the original western boundary, thence north with said boundary sixty poles to the northwest corner, thence East with the north boundary to the beginning.  Containing by estimation one hundred and one acres be thw same more or less, with all the appurtenances, and all the estate right, title, in trust property, claim and demand of him the said Sam'l Gibson, of in and to the same, to have and to hld the lands hereby conveyed.... Hoover of the one part and Washington Gibson of the other part, all of the County of Rutherford and State of Tennessee witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and sixty two dollars to them in hand paid, the above named John Hoover and Matthias W. Hoover hath bargained and sold unto the above named Washington Gibson a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the above named County and on the waters of the East fork of the West fork of Stone's River it being part of a survey of land conveyed by Matthias Hoover Senr to the above named John Hoover.  Beginning on the top of a ridge on an Elm in Jacob Hoover's line, thence S 68' W 81 poles to an Elm, thence S35 W46 poles to an ash, thence S68 W36 poles to an Em, thence S8 East 136 poles to a white oak, thence East 113 poles to a stake in Jacob Hover's west boundary line, thence north with said line to Henry Hoover's south East corner of an eight acres tract of land it being a part of said survey, thence westward with said line 27 poles to a Beech & Dogwood said being Hoover's South West corner, thence north 42 1/2 poles to a sugartree said Hoover's north west corner, thence Eastwardly with said line 33 poles to a stake in Jacob Hoover's line, thence north with said line to the beginning.  Containing one hundred and thirty acres, be same more or less.  To have and to hold the above named land and t[] to the only proper use and behalf of the above named Washington Gibson his heirs and assignes forever and that the above named Hoovers doth for themselves their heirs and assignes covenant to and agree to warrant and forever defend from them their heirs, administrators or assgnees or any other person or persons whatsoever the above named land.  In witness whereof we hath hereunto set our hands and  seals the date above written.

This indenture made and entered into this 15th day of October 1834 between James Gibson Senr of the one part and Pleasant White of the other part, witnesseth that the said Gibson hath this day for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars to him in hand paid sold, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presetns both sell, convey and confirm, unto the said White a certain tract of land in said county of Rutherford on the waters of the East fork of Stone's River.  Beginning at a stake in Donelson's old line 4 poles 15 links West of a poplar corner and running west at 28 poles pass Davis corner in all 128 1/3 ples to a stake in a [lane] thence North 125 poles a stake the Hickory dead, thence East 128 poles to a stake in Robert Jarman's field, thence south with a line this day agreed on between said Jarman and White dividing the land in dispute equally between them 125 poles to the beginning. Containing one hundred acres.  To have and to hold the aforesaid land to the [     ] said White his heirs & against myself my heirs [ ].  In witness [ ] I have set my hand & seal this day & date above.

This Indenture made this twelfth day of December in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and theirty four, by and between James Gibson of the county of Rutherford and state of Tennessee of the one part, and John Brown of the County and State aforesaid of the other part; Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars to him the said Gibson in hand paid, do bargain, sell and deliver, and do by these presents bargain & deliver to the said John Brown a certain tract or parcel of land, situate lying and being in the county and state aforesaid, on the waters of Bradley's Creek, bounded as follows, to wit.  Beginning on a Beech and Hornbeam in Robert Jarmon's West boundary and running thence with White's line North Eighty degrees West sixty eight poles to a Beech, thence West one hundred and eighty four poles to a Red Oak & Sugartree, thence North thirty six poles to a white ash standing in McKee's East boundary line Mathew Gibson's corner, thence East with said Gibson's South boundary line two hundred and fifty-two poles to a stake, thence South to the beginning. Containing seventy acres, the same being more or less.  To have and to hold to him the said Brown his heirs and assignes forever and I the said James Gibson, do for myself my heirs executors & administrators do warrant and forever defend the before recited land & premises to him the said John Brown his heirs and assignes forever against the claim of all persons whatever. This Indenture made and entered into this Eighteenth day of February 1835, between William Gibson of the County of Rutherford and State of Tennessee of the one part, and John Bellah of the County and State aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth, that the said William for and in consideration of the love and affection which he hath for his wife Nancy and his Sons Moses, James, John, William, Samuel, Anderson, Matthew, Alfred and his daughters Elizabeth and Mary Gibson; and for and in consideration of the Sum of one dollar to him in hand paid by the said John Bellah, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath this day granted, bargained & sold, and by thiese presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien [ ], convey and deliver unto the said John Bellah the following described property viz. six negroes, Ritta aged about thirty, Hacey (?) aged about twelve or thirteen, Peter aged about ten or eleven, Louisy aged about eight or nine, & Ned aged about seven or eight and Henry aged about twenty-four.  Also three head of horses, eight head of cows, all of my st[] of hogs, five beds, bedsteads & furniture, one clock, one burea[u] and one chest.  To have and to hold to the said John Bellah his heirs and assignes forever In trust nonetheless, and to and for the separate use and benefits of my siad wife Nancy Gibson for and during the term of her natural life, and it is the design and intention of these presents that the said John Bellah is to apply the hire of the negroes and use of the other property herein before described to the sale and separate use and benefit of my said wife Nancy and the above named children and any other children I may have by my said wife Nancy in their support and maintenance and the same is not to be subject to my debts or contracts hereinafter to be made but all the debts that I now owe are first to be paid and satisfied and if the proceeds of my land which I have contracted to sell be not sufficient to pay all my devts, then and in that case the said John Bellah is authorized and empowered to sell so much of the above described property as may be sufficient for that purpose.  And it is further understood the said John Bellah may either hire out the above negroes and apply the hire to the support and maintence of my wife and children as above or if he thinks best he may place the said negroes upon some [farm] with my said wife Nancy and children to work and labor for their support as aforesaid, and after the death of my said wife in trust that the said John Bellah, his heirs and assignes shall distributre said negroes and the incresease as well as the other property herein before described and the increase therefrom and such of the profits as may not be required in the support and maintence of my said wife Nancy and children equally to and amongst all of the above named children and such children I may hereafter have by my said wife Nancy, share and share alike and if it should so happen that any of my children should die having issue lawfully begotten before the death of my said wife in that event the children of such so dying to share the portion of which would fall to his [ ] or their parents were they then living.

This Indenture made this seventeenth day of February in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty five, between William Gibson of Rutherford County and Stae of Tennessee of the one part, and Moses Gibson of the county of Rutherford and State of Tennessee of the other part, witensseth that the said William Gibson for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and eighty dollars to him in hand paid by the said Moses Gibson, the receipt which is hereby acknowledged, hath given, granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth give , grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey & confirm unto the said Moses Gibson his heirs and assignes forever a certain tract, piece or parcel of land, situate lying and being in the county of Rutherford and State of Tennessee, on Bradley's Creek described as follows.  Beginning on a stake White's Northwest corner, thence north 88 degrees west with an old marked line sixty seven and a half poles to a beech & dogwood, thence South one hundred and fifteen and a half poles to a stake in Donnell's lines thence South 88 degrees East with his line and passing his corner in all sity five and a half poles to a stake White's corner, thence North with his line to the beginning containing by survey forty eight acres be the same more or less.  To have and to hold the aforesaid land with all and singular the rights, profits, em[]ments, h[]ments and appurtenances of in and to the same belonging or in any way appertaining to the only proper use, benefits and behalf of him the said Moses Gibson his heirs and assignes forever.  And the said William Gibson for himself his heirs executors or administrators, do covenant and [ ] to and with the said Moses Gibson heirs or assignes, that the before recited land and bargained premises he will warrant and forever defend against the right, tile (?), in trust or claim of all and any person or persons whomsoever.  In witness whereof he hath hereunto set his name and affixed his seal the date aove written.  Signed, selaed & delivered in presece of

This indenture made this fifthe day of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty eight between Matthew Gibson of the county of Rutherford and State of Tennessee of the one part and Robert Jarman of the County of Wilson and State aforesaid of the other part; Witnesseth, that the said Matthew Gibson for and in consideration of the sum of three thousand dollars in hand paid the receipt is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold and delivered unto Robert Jarman his heirs and assignes forever a certain tract or parcel of land whereon said Gibson now lives, it being in the County of Rutherford and State aforesaid, and on the waters of Bradley's bank.  Beginning at a stake on the Eastern boundary line of the original Survey it [ ] the South East [ ] of Samuel Gibsons tract, thence South with said boundary one hundred and eight and one half poles to a stake, thence West two hundred and seventy poles to a stake on the West boundary line of said tract, thence North one hundred and eight and a half poles to a stake on Samuel Gibson's south West corner, thence East two hundred and seventy poles with Samuel Gibson's line to the beginning, containing by estimation one hundred and seventy five acres be the same more or less.  To have and to hold to him the said Robert Jarman, his heirs and assigns forever and I the said Matthew Gibson do for my self my heirs executors administrators and assigns do warrant and f[ ] defend the above described land and premises against the claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever.  In testimony whereof I have herein set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above written.

Morris, Clerk of the county court of said county Rutherford County }  the foregoing named Matthew Gibson the bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledgeed that he executed the foregoing Bill of Sale for the purposes therein contained.  Witness my hand at off this 13th day of April 1839.
