Mrs. William Warren Dies at Local Hospital [1 Apr 1960]
         Mrs William Henry Warren, 86, of the Lamont Community died Friday in Jesse Holman Jones Hospital after a few weeks of illness. Services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Barber Funeral Home, Milldale, with the Rev. Ray Dean and the Rev. Elmer Mason officiating. Burial was in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Warren, the former Mary Elizabeth McGuire, was a native of Nashville and the daughter of Luke and Margaret Brigance McGuire. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons: Charley Warren, Springfield; Newton Warren, Goodlettsville; John W. Warren, Kenney, Ill.; four daughters: Mrs Ollie [Rosa Salina] Pitt and Mrs Bonnie [Katherine Eva Lois] Keith, Springfield; Mrs Fitch [Vernice Estella] Martin, Cross Plains; Mrs Randolph [Victoria Johnson] Hoback, Nashville; a sister: Mrs Earl [Magnolia] Martin, Nashville; 57 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren.
