         I have this day bargained & sold, & do hereby transfer & convey to F.R. Durrett for the consideration of Three hundred & thirty seven dollars & thirty five cts to me in hand paid, & the other consideration hereafter mentioned my tract of land in the 10th Civil District Robertson County Tennessee, bounded as follows "To Wit" Beginning on Locus (Harriet E. Winfields corner) then South with Harriet E. Winfield line two hundred & six poles to a dogwood, thence West with Allen? Jones line eighty one poles to hickory; thence North two hundred and six poles to a hornbrier? bush; thence East with James Cave Owens line eighty one poles to the beginning, containing by estimation one hundred & four acres more or less. To have and to hold to the said F.R. Durrett his heirs & assigns forever. I warrant the title & agree to defend it against all persons whatever. But this conveyance is made upon the express condition, that if I, or my representative do pay to the said F.R. Durrett or his representatives the sum of three hundred & thirty seven dollars & 65/100 with the interest thereon on the second of February 1869, according to a note under deed this day executed by me to the said F.R. Durrett, then this deed shall be void, but not otherwise. This the 2nd day of February 1869.

State of Tennessee Robertson County
         Personally appeared before me R.H. Murphey clerk of the County Court of said County, Wm A. Shannon and D.L. Durrett, subscribing witnesses to the attached deed who being first duly sworn depose and say, that they are personally acquainted with the within Malina Winfield, the bargainer, and that she acknowledged the same in their presence to be her act and deed for the purposes therein contained. Witness my hands at office, this 3rd day of February 1869.
