This Deed of Conveyance, executed and delivered by J. F. Stroud joined by his wife Minnie E. Stroud both hereinafter called the grantors, to Jesse C. Head, hereinafter called the grantee.
Witnesseth, that for the consideration of Four Thousand and Three Hundred ($4300.00) Dollars, cash in hand paid by the grantee to the grantors, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, we, the said grantors, have this day bargained and sold and do by these presents hereby sell, transfer and convey unto the said grantee, heirs and assigns, the particular two tracts or pieces of land both situated in the 7th Civil District of Robertson County, Tennessee, described to wit:
Tract No. 1, Beginning at a post, corner to Jesse C. Heads line runs thence with his line N 85', W 5.5 P. to the center of Stroudsville and Clarksville Road, thence with the center of said road S 40' W 16.7 P, thence with a fence S 80 1/2 E. 13.3 P to a post, thence N 16' E 14.6 P to the beginning, containing 1 acre more or less and being the same land which was conveyed to J. F. Stroud by C. C. Head et ux in a deed of record in the R.O.R.C.T. in Deed Book 81, page 162.
Tract No. 2, Beginning at a point in the Stroudsville and Clarksville Road with a stone marker on the N side of road, the same being a corner to R. A. Corlew runs thence N 3 1/2' E 79.4 to a stone, corner to said Corlew, thence E 79 1.2' W 8 P to a stone, thence N 3 1/2' E 100.5 to a stake in the N line of the S. R. Shepard tract, thence S 88 1/2' E 57 P to a stone in Tobe Darden's line, thence 3' W 53.5 P to a hickory stump, corner to Head, thence S 52 E 213 P to a point in Brush Creek, corner to Jim Bracey and H. O. Nichols line, thence with said creek as follows, S 31' W 22 P, S 12' W 14 P, S 23" W 12 P, S 52" W 16 P S 75' W 15 P' S 75' W 8 P, N 89" W 20.8 P, N 85' W 33 P, N 76 W 32 P, E 7' W 48 P to the beginning, containing 181 acres more or less.
Being the same land conveyed in separate deeds to J. F. Stoud, as follows by S. F. Shepard et ux in a deed of record in the R.O.R.C.T, in Deed Book 64 page 12, by W. B. Shepard et ux in a deed of record in the Registers office aforesaid in Deed Book 48, page 347, by S. F. Shephard et ux in a deed of record in the office of Register aforesaid in Deed Book 3 page 249.
To Have and to hold the premises as aforesaid, with all appurtenances and immunities thereto belonging, unto the said grantee, heirs and assigns forever. The grantor J. F. Stroud covenants with the grantee, heirs and assigns, (1) That he is lawfully seized infee of said premises, (2) That he has a good and perfect right to make this conveyance, (3) That said premises are unincumbered except by taxes for the year 1934 which the grantee will pay, (4) That he will warrant and defend the title in and to said premises against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whomsoever. Done this February 17, 1934, at Springfield, Tennessee.

STATE OF TENNESSEE, ROBERTSON COUNTY
Personally appeared before me, Charles Willett, a Notary Public in and for said county and state, the within J.F. Stroud and Minnie E. Stroud, the bargainers with who I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that they executed the within deed instrument for the purposes therein contained. And Minne E. Stroud wife of the said J. F.Stroud having personally appeared before me, privately and apart from her husband, the said Minnie E.Stroud acknowledged the execution of said deed instrument to have been done by her freely, voluntarily and understandlingly without compulsion of constrain from her said husband, and for the purposes therein expressed.
Witness my hand and seal of office, the 17th day of Feb. 1934 at Springfield, Robertson County Tennessee.
