         This Indenture made this 15, day of August, in the year of our Lord, One thousand Seven hundred and ninety seven, between Aaron Perry of the County of Robertson and State of Tennessee, of the One part, and Samuel Tucker of the County and State aforesaid, of the other part: Witnesseth, That for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred Dollars in hand paid the receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargin sell alien convey and confirm unto the said Samuel Tucker his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land containing One hundred and sixty acres, lying and being in Robertson County, Crunks branch waters of the Sulpher Fork of Red River:--Beginning at a white oak Crunks corner; runs South and hundred and sixty poles to a stake; thence East one hundred and sixty poles to a stake; thence North one hundred and sixty poles to a stake; thence West one hundred and sixty poles to the Beginning:--Being the lower half of Three Hundred and Twenty acres, Granted by the State of North Carolina to John Boren with the appurtenance thereunto belonging and every part and parcel thereof with all rents issues services and profits to them or either of them belonging or appertaining to have and to hold the land and promise hereby granted with appurtenances unto the said Samuel Tucker his heirs and assigns forever, and the said Aaron Perry for himself, his heirs and assigns, doth hereby covenant and agree that he will at all times hereafter warrant and forever defend the land and premises hereby granted unto all the said Samuel Tucker, against all lawful claims and demands whatever whereby the premises above mentioned may be affected or encumbered contrary to the true intent and meaning of these presents.
