This Indenture made and entered into between Berry Wright at the County of Robertson State of Tennessee of the one part, and W.P. Berry of the County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, I have this day bargained and sold unto the said W.P. Berry a certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being in the County and State aforesaid and on the north fork of Red River, containing fifty acres, be the same more or less, and bounded as follows to wit, Beginning at a black jack on Thomas Grove's east boundary line, Running North 78 ¾ poles to a hickory, in a line of James Gove's, thence E. 102 poles to a black jack, thence S. 78 ¾ poles to a hickory, thence W. 102 poles to the Beginning. To have and to hold the above tract or parcel of land with its appurtainances to the said W.C. Berry. I bind myself my (heirs) and assigns to Warrant and forever defend the title of the same _______ from the claim or claims of any and all forever.
