         This Indenture made this Eleventh day of February one thousand Eight hundred and twelve Between James Long of the county of Robertson & State of Tennessee of the one part and Peter Fiser Senr of the County and state aforesaid of the other part.
         Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Sixteen hundred fifty dollars to him the said James Long in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged doth Bargain sell alien Enssoff convey and confirm and by these presents hath bargained sold aliened Enssoffed conveyed & confirmed unto the said Peter Fiser Senr and his heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Robertson in the State of Tennessee being part of a tract of six hundred forty acres Granted by the State of North Carolina to William Hood patent bearing date the twenty sixth day of June 1792 on the sulpher fork of Red River, Beginning at a dogwood at or near where the Grant calls for a hickory on the north side of said creek & runs thence South two hundred and twenty seven poles to a Dogwood, thence west two hundred and Eleven poles to a white oak, thence North two hundred & twenty seven poles to a Hickory, thence East two hundred Eleven poles to the Beginning, Containing three hundred acres be the same more less with all & singular Right titles privileges claims & Emoluments thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining.
         To have and to hold the above said tract of land with every part and parcel thereof unto him the said Peter Fiser Senr, his heirs and assigns forever and the said James Long doth hereby covenant promise & agree to and with the said Peter Fiser Senr his heirs and assigns that the before Bargained Land and premises he will warrant and forever defend against the Just claims of all person or persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof the said James Long hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written.
