I Campbell Jones have this day bargained and sold unto F.R. Durrett his heirs and assigns forever for the consideration of one thousand and sixty two dollars in hand paid, two tracts of land, in the State of Tennessee & County of Robertson District No. 10. One tract containing thirty acres, bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning on a hickory of Harrison D. Fisk’s beginning corner, running South with said Fisk’s line to a small black oak, thence West with said line Fisk’s, to a dogwood, on William Well’s line, of the fifty acres, West he bought at John P. Chandler’s sale, thence North with said fifty acre tract to a black oak, thence East with the said F.R. Durrett’s line to the Beginning. Also one other tract lying in the State of Tennessee Robertson County district No. 10, bounded as follows: Beginning on a black oak on James Owen’s West boundary line, near where it crosses Henry’s trace, running West sixty poles to a spanish oak, thence North fifty three and one third poles to a hickory and dogwood, thence South sixty poles to a black aoak in Owens line, thence South with said line fifty three and one third poles to the Beginning. To have and to hold the same to the said F.R. Durrett his heirs and assigns forever. I do covenant with said Durrett that I am lawfully seized of said land, have a good right to convey the same and the same is unencumbered, I further covenant and bind myself my heirs or Representatives to Warrant and defend the title to same land and every part thereof to the said F.R. Durrett his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons Whatsoever, this 5th of March 1846. Rec’d for Registration 3 Dec 1846 3 Ock PM.

Personally appeared before me Joseph E. Winfield clerk of the County Court for said County C. Jones the within named bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed the within deed for the purposes therein contained.
