         This indenture made this 10th of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten between William HUEY of the County of Robertson & State of Tennesee of the one part and Alexander GORDON of the County & State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars & seventy cents to him in hand paid by the said Alexander GORDON at or before the sealing & delivering of those presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold and delivered and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell and release, convey & confirm unto the said Alexander GORDON his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land located and being in the County of Robertson & State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars & seventy cents to him in hand paid by the said Alexander GORDON at or before the sealing & delivering of those presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold and delivered and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell and release, convey & confirm unto the said Alexander GORDON his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying & being in the County of Robertson & State aforesaid on the waters of Red River containing twenty five acres more or less beginning at a maple on John HUEYs line, thence South forty eight poles to a sweet gum on McDOWELL's line, thence eighty

three poles to a post oak JOHNSON's line, thence North forty eighty poles to ___ corner on a post oak, thence West eighty three poles to the beginning to have and to hold the above mentioned land and premises contained within the above mentioned bounds forever all priviledges, rights, appurtenances thereunto belonging and the said William HUEY & for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever warrant and defend the above land and for ___ unto the above mentioned Alexander GORDON his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whatsoever whereby the above ___ land and premises may ___ contrary to the intent and true meaning of these ___ witness unto the said William HUEY hath set hand and affixed his seal this day and above mentioned.

         Robertson County Circuit Court April term 1811 the foregoing deed William HUEY to Alexander GORDON was acknowledged in open Court by said William HUEY.
