For the love and affection I entertain for my son William Huddleston, I do hereby give transfer and convey to him a certain tract or parcel of land, lying in Robertson County Tennessee District No. 9, containing by estimation sixty nine acres, and bounded as follows, to wit, Beginning at a switch hazel on Huddleston branch, running East 129 poles to the South west corner of Asa Harper Jur. Six acre tract thence North 72 poles to Smart’s? line, thence West with Maullo’s line ___ poles to the poplar, thence North 40 poles to another, thence down Huddlestons Branch to Cerroles Harper’s line, thence up the said Harper’s line to a sugar tree, thence with the Branch to the Beginning. To have and to hold the same the same to the said William Huddleston Jr. his heirs and assigns forever. I do covenant and agree for myself and heirs to warrant and defend the title to the said tract or parcel of land to the said William Huddleston Jur. His heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatsoever the above deed ???? upon the express condition that the said William Huddleston Jr. agrees to me and my wife Nancy a comfortable support so long as we both may live, otherwise to be null and void. Personally appeared before me Robt H. Murphey clk of the County Court for said County W.C. Harper and S.T. Mantle the witnesses to the within deed who on their oathes that they are acquainted with William Huddleston the bargainor and that he acknowledged the same in their presence to be his act, and for the purposes therein contained on the day it bears date;
