I Benjamin F. Huddleston have this day bargained and sold, and do hereby transfer and convey to Edward K.Gillam, his heir and assigns forever, for the consideration of Forty three dollars to me paid, all my undivided interest in a tract of land in the State of Tennessee Robertson County & District No. 14, the said tract of land belonging to my mother Elizabeth Huddleston at the time of her death, & adjoins the said E.K. Gillam, he the said Gillam owning all of the tract except one interest. To have and to hold the said tract of land, to the said E.K. Gillam his heirs and assigns forever. I do further agree to warrant and forever defend the right & title of the aforesaid tract, to the said land, and every part thereof, to the said Gillam his heirs & assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever, this the 10th day of November 1856.
