In consideration of the natural love and affection I bear my sister Ann Parks, I hereby give to my said sister Ann Parks and her husband Guin Parks the parcel of land on which they now reside, bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning on a horse barn, and running north 28 E 20 poles to a rock, thence North 70 East, 40 poles to a rock, thence South 28 East 20 poles to a rock, thence South 70 West 40 poles to the beginning, containing five acres, more or less, to have and to hold during their natural lives of my said sister Ann Parks and her husband Guinn Parkes provided him or her continue to reside upon the same, otherwise to revert back to me. Given under my hand, and seal, the 2nd Dec (AD) 1875.

Personally appeared before me John B. Strother a Notary Public of sd county the aforenamed S. Gilbert the bargainor with whom I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that he executed the foregoing instrument for the purposes therein contained.
