I F.R. Durrett have this day bargained and sold unto Reuben Welch his heirs forever One tract of land in the State of Tennessee Robertson County District No. 10 one Tract containing twenty one acres more or less, Beginning on a black oak on James Owens West boundary Line, near where it crosses Henry’s Trace, running West sixty poles to a spanish oak, thence North fifty three and one third poles, to a hickory and dogwood, thence South sixty poles to a black oak in Owen’s line, thence South with the said line fifty three poles & one third to the Beginning. To have and to hold the same to the said Reubin Welch his heirs and assigns forever. I do covenant with the said Welch that I am lawfully seized of said land, have a good right to convey the same and that the same is unencumbered. I further covenant and bind myself my heirs and representatives to forever Warrant and defend the title to the said land and every part thereof to said Welch his heirs and assigns against the claims of all persons. March 7th 1850. Received 7 January 1851 at 10 O’ck AM.
