         M. Byram administrator of Daniel Arnold deceased, do by virtue of the power in me vested by Law, and in compliance with a Bond made by the said Daniel Arnold in his lifetime, convey unto Elijah Arnold for the consideration mentioned in said Bond, to wit: two hundred and Sixty four dollars & fifty cents paid to the said D. Arnold in his lifetime, the tract of land therein described, Containing by estimation forty nine & one half acres, lying on the waters of Summers branch Robertson County Tennessee, and bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning at a small hickory near the mouth of the Spring branch thence up the branch with its meanders to a walnut, thence South 19 degree East 85 poles to a rock near a spring so as to include said spring, thence due East 114 poles to a hickory corner, to House, thence due north 48 poles to a post oak, thence due West 25 1/2 to a rock, corner to Chism, thence north 36 poles to a rock on the north bank of the branch, thence West with the meanders of the branch to the beginning. To have and to hold to the said Elijah Arnold, his heirs and assigns forever, the title to which land I hereby bind the heirs of the said D. Arnold to warrant & defend to the said E. Arnold and his heirs against the lawful claims of all persons whatsoever as fully and effectively as they could be bound, if the said D. Arnold had executed this deed himself, according to the power in me by law vested, Given under my hand and seal this 9th day of February, 1850.

         Personally appeared before me Joseph E. Winfield clk of the County Court for said County Thomas Stinger and James L. Williams, subscribing witnesses to the within named deed, who being first Sworn depose and say that they are acquainted with Moses Byram the bargainer, and that he acknowledged the same in their presence to be his act and deed, upon the day it bears date.
         Witness my hand at office this 16th day of February, 1850.
