I J. D. Arnold of the County of Simpson State of Ky have This day bargained and sold to N. C. Rose of the County of Robertson State of Tenn. a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in Said County & State in district No. 2 for the Sum and consideration of one hundred and forty Six & 75/100 Dollars to Wm. Cunningham in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged butted and bounded as follows, adjoining the land of Wm Maquire on the north and East beginning on a hickory, Maguire's North west Corner of the J. W. Williams tract running East 18 1/2 poles to a stake and pointers, Thence Nor 81 poles To a Stake and persimmon pointers, Thence west 18 1/2 poles to a Stake and pointers, Thence South with Maguires line, 81 poles to the beginning, Containing Ten acres more or less to have and to hold The Same his heirs and assigns forever, and bind myself my heirs and assigns to warant and defend the title of the Same against all Claims whatever. This Apr the 25th, 1869.

Personally appeared before me R. H. Murphey Clerk of the County Court of Said County. J.W. Berry 6 Jan'y 1871 and Wm Cunningham Subscribing witnesses to the attached deed who being first Duly sworn depose and say that they are personally acquainted with the above named J. D. Arnold the bargainer and that he acknowledged the same in their presence to his act and deed for the purposes therein contained.
