J.A. Farmer, Last Will and Testament

         I J.A. Farmer of Robertson County, Tennessee, being of sound mind make this my last will.
         I will and bequeath to my wife Martha A Farmer during her life the use or rent of all the property both real and personal of which I may die possessed of after paying my just debts and funeral expenses, and at her death it is my will that my land be divided between my three children W.T. Farmer, R.W. Farmer and N.E. Inman and my grandson J.T. Elliott as follows.
         I will to my son W.T. Farmer 93 acres of land on which he now resides, known as the east end of the Walker land, and to my grandson J.T. Elliott I will 73 acres on which I now reside, the west end of the Walker tract of land, and to my son R.W. Farmer I will 84 acres on which he now resides lying on the south side of the Glover Hollow, and to my daughter N.E. Inman I will the 63 acres lying on the north side of the Glover Hollow.
         I will to my wife M.A. Farmer all my personal effects to do with as she pleases, after paying my just debts and funeral expenses.
         It is my will that the property above allotted to my three children and my grandson as above described be given to each of them to use during their lifetime and then to be the property of their children.
         I am security on a note to Mrs. Sallie Dame for $200 for my son R.W. Farmer which if I or my estate should have to pay shall stand as a debt or mortgage on that part of my land allotted to him.

         The forgoing last will and testament of J A Farmer was produced in open court and duly proven by GW Winters and Susie Inman subscribing witnesses thereto, thereupon the court said will recorded.
