         We the undersigned having been appointed by the County Court of Robertson County commissioners to lay off to the widow of James Payne dec’d her dower in the real estate of said Dec’d and also to divide the real estate of said among the legatees of said Dec’d have in obedience to said order laid off and allotted to the widow her dower in the following manner, to wit; Beginning on a Black Jack in the south boundary line of a 180 acre survey (home tract) runs north 128 poles to a Black Jack thence west 126 poles to a Post Oak thence south 128 poles to a Post Oak thence east 126 poles to the beginning containing one hundred acres and 128 poles.
And also we have divided the balance of said estate among the Legatees in the following manner To Wit;
         John, drew Lot No.1, Beginning on a Post Oak the north west corner of the Widows Dower running west 13 poles to a Black Hickory then north 128 poles to a stake in the north boundary line of Bowman’s survey then east 13 poles to a Post Oak then south 128 poles to the beginning containing ten acres and sixty four poles. Also No. 14, Beginning on a stake run west 18 poles to a Black Oak north 128 poles to a stake East 18 poles to two White Oaks south 128 poles to the beginning containing 14 acres sixty four poles.
         Milly, drew Lot No. 2, Beginning on a stake running west 13 poles to a stake then south 128 poles to a Hickory bush and pointers then east 13 poles to a Black Oak and Hickory, then north 128 poles to the beginning containing ten acres 64 poles, Also No. 16, Beginning on a Post Oak runs north 35 poles to a stake, east 69 poles to a stake south thirty five poles to a Hickory north 69 poles to the beginning containing 15 acres 15 poles.
         Lucy Ann, drew Lot No. 3, Beginning at a Hickory bush and pointers runs west 13 poles to a stake and pointers then north 128 poles to a Post Oak then east 13 poles to a stake then south 128 poles to the beginning containing ten acres 64 poles. Also No. 13, Beginning on a Cherry tree runs west 14 poles to two White Oaks south 128 poles to a stake east 14 poles to a Spanish Oak north 128 poles to the beginning containing 11 acres 32 poles.
         Washington, drew Lot No. 4, Beginning on a Post Oak runs west 13 poles to a stake then South 128 poles to a Hickory then east 13 poles to a stake then north 128 poles to the beginning containing ten acres 64 poles. Also No. 17, Beginning on a Black Oak runs 7 ½ poles to a stake and pointers west 10 poles to a Sassafras north 29 poles to a stake east 56 poles to a Post Oak bush south 56 ½ poles to a Post Oak Biggs corner west 46 to the beginning containing 12 acres 49 poles.
         Annis, drew Lot No. 5, Beginning on a Hickory running west 13 poles to a stake and pointers then North 128 poles to a stake then east 13 poles to a stake then south 128 poles to the beginning containing 10 acres 64 poles. Also No. 20, Beginning on Sassafras runs north 47 poles to Maple west 42 poles to a stake south 47 poles to stake east 42 poles to the beginning containing 12 acres 54 poles.
         Jefferson, drew Lot No. 6, Beginning on a stake runs west 13 poles to a stake then south 128 poles to stake then east 13 poles to a stake then north 128 poles to the beginning containing ten acres 64 poles, Also No. 2(1), Beginning on a Maple running north 56 poles to a Black Jack16 degree north of west 32 poles to a Post Oak west of south 20 degrees 34 poles to a Sweet Gum west 7 poles to a Black Gum south 36 to a stake east 42 poles to the beginning containing 12 acres 122 poles.
         Polly, drew Lot No. 7, Beginning on a stake running west 13 poles to a stake then north 128 poles to a stake then east 13 poles to a stake then south 128 poles to the beginning containing ten acres 64 poles. Also No. 19, Beginning on a Swamp Spanish Oak runs north 38 poles to a Black Jack east 56 poles to a Black Oak south 38 poles to a White Post Oak west 56 poles to the beginning 13 acres 24 poles.
         Malinda, drew Lot No. 8, Beginning on a stake runs west 13 poles to a stake then south 128 poles to a double Black Oak then east 13 poles to a stake then north 128 poles to the beginning containing ten acres 64 poles. Also No. 18, Beginning on a stake runs north 36 poles to a Swamp Spanish Oak east 56 poles to a Post Oak bush west 56 poles to the beginning containing 12 acres 96 poles.
         Hiram, drew Lot No. 9, Beginning on two Black Oaks runs west 14 poles to two Maples north 128 poles to a Sweet Gum then east 14 poles to a stake then south 128 poles to the beginning containing eleven acres 32 poles. Also No. 15, begins at a stake runs west 25 poles to a Black Oak northeast corner of Widows dower south 128 poles to a Black Jack east 25 poles to a Black Oak north 128 poles to the beginning containing twenty acres.
         Barnett, drew Lot No. 10, Beginning on a sweet gum runs west 13 poles to a Sassafras then south 128 poles to a Dogwood then east 13 poles to two Maples then north 128 poles to the beginning containing ten acres 64 poles. Also No. 12, Beginning on a Post Oak runs west 12 poles to a stake north 128 poles to the beginning containing nine acres ninety six poles.
         Joseph, drew Lot No. 11, Beginning on a Dogwood runs west 13 poles to a Red Oak Bowman’s north west corner then north 128 poles to a White Oak and Hickory then east 13 poles to a Sassafras then north 128 poles to the beginning containing ten acres 64 poles, Also No. 22 Beginning on a Black Jack the north east corner of John Payne’s survey running north with Thomas Smith 128 poles to a small Red Oak in Thomas West’s line west with said West’s line 37 poles to a small Black Oak his corner, south with his eastern boundary line of another survey and south 128 poles to a stake on John Payne’s thence east with Paynes line 37 poles to the beginning containing 27 acres. Given under our hands and seals the 27th day of January 1832.
