4-27-30. Church was called to order to take care of business. A report was made by E. M. Jernigan about the insurance on the church the report was accepted and motion was made that the church be insured this motion passed and the money was raised at this service. Nov 1930. The board of Deacons met with the cemetery com. Sunday afternoon Nov. 23, 1930. Mr. Holmes made a motion that a com. be appointed to look after the trading of some land belonging to the church to Robert Sanders and he appointed E. M. Jernigan, Lucky Barry and Ewing Austin to serve this comm. The Deacons looked over the church roll and found 76 inactive members leaving 236 active members.
4th Sun Nov. Pleasant Hill church met for business session. The chairman of Cem. Comm. recommended G. W. Cook and W. B. Jernigan to fill the place of Will Cline & Clark Dorris who have moved away. It was moved and seconded that these two be added to the Cem. Comm. E. M. Jernigan reported that Robt. Sanders wanted to trade a strip of land laying between the church & the cem. to a narrow strip on land on east side of church belonging to church. A comm.. was appointed to make this

3-20-32. The Pleasant Hill Church acted upon the following business. Rev. V. Floyd Stark offered his resignation as pastor the resignation was accepted to take effect May 1st 1932. Rev. Stark appointed the board of Deacons as a pulpit comm..

8-7-32. The treasurer made a report that the insurance on the church building was past due. Mr. A. T. A. Holmes made a motion to see if the people still wanted to carry the insurance or drop it, was carried that the insurance be kept. Mr. E. M. Jernigan made a motion that the money to pay the prem. be made up at this time which was $44.00 which was made up of gifts from the audience.
