F. Crowder<\/strong> is at present first assistant in the Rockwood High School and is a young man, having been born in Roane County in 1871.&nbsp; <strong>Mr. Crowder<\/strong> studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1895, and at the end of the present school term will engage in the practice of law. He is a close student and will make his mark as an attorney.<\/p>\n<p>Source: <em>Knoxville Journal &amp; Tribune<\/em>, Sunday, 24 Apr 1898<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>2025 additions:<\/p>\n<p><strong>James Frank Crowder<\/strong> married <strong>Nette Sanborn<\/strong> in Roane County on 20 April 1905.&nbsp; They apparently had no children.&nbsp; His tombstone inscription at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood indicates his birth and death dates as 13 December 1870 &#8211; 16 Nov 1906.&nbsp; He was the son of <strong>James and Katie Crowder<\/strong>.&nbsp; Apparently, <strong>J. F. Crowder<\/strong> died intestate; Letters of Administration were issued to <strong>Nettie Crowder<\/strong>, <strong>James L. Nicholas<\/strong>, and <strong>Sam. G.
