It would appear some of the students definitely needed the course.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">&#8220;We the undersigned promise to pay <strong>J. C.<\/strong> (could be <strong>H.<\/strong>) <strong>Walker<\/strong> three dollars at the commencement of the term for ten lessons in commercial penmanship two hours per lesson.&#8221; Kingston, Tenn. Roberts<\/strong> in 1859. He was son of <strong>Brashear Roberts<\/strong>, grandson of <strong>Zaccheus Roberts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A son of <strong>Zaccheus Roberts<\/strong>, <strong>Robert Zedekiah<\/strong> (1807) gets confused with the other <strong>R. Z.<\/strong>, and he married <strong>Martha Barnett<\/strong>. I don&#8217;t have anything on the <strong>Barnett\/Burnet<\/strong> family, but do see land transactions with <strong>Wiley and Carter Barnett<\/strong> and this <strong>R. Z. Roberts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The information I have on <strong>Brashear Roberts<\/strong> (s\/o <strong>Zaccheus<\/strong>) is that he lived near <strong>John C. Ladd<\/strong>, and <strong>Lemuel Harvey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elizabeth Roberts<\/strong>, daughter of <strong>David<\/strong>, granddaughter of <strong>Wright Roberts<\/strong>, married first <strong>Sampson Monger<\/strong> (1820). [No known relationship between <strong>Wright and Zaccheus Roberts<\/strong>]<\/p>\n<p>Elizabeth&#8217;s brother, <strong>Isaac S. T. Roberts<\/strong> (1833) married <strong>Caroline M.
