Notes on original transcription:  The Bible of Samuel Margrave<\/strong> was owned by Mrs. Edgar Owen<\/strong> (now deceased), Harriman, Tennessee who [was] a descendant of Samuel Margrave<\/strong>.  There is no date on the Bible but it has the following information:  Kimber and Sharpless’ Stereotype Edition, Stereotyped by E. White, New York Philadelphia Published and Sold by Kimber and Sharpless at their Book-Store, No. 8 South 4th Street.  Samuel Margrave<\/strong> has written his name many times in the front and back of the Bible and from which writing it appears that he made all most all of the entries.
