J. and Margaret (<strong>Carder<\/strong>)<strong>Acuff<\/strong>. Married Sarah Josephine <strong>Cunningham<\/strong>, the daughter of Thomas Newton Locke and Lorinda Jane (<strong>Smith) Cunningham<\/strong> in 1890, Rhea County.<\/p>\n<p>He worked for Dayton Fuel and Iron and with the closing of that establishment, sought work in Birmingham, Alabama in 1903.
