Carney, passed away at the home of her son, Roy C. Carney in Chattanooga at noon Sunday.\u00a0 She is survived by her husband, six sons: Roy and Brownie of Chattanooga, George and Jack Carney of Pontiac, Mich.,\u00a0 SFC Wayne Carney with the U.S. Army stationed in New York,\u00a0 M\/Sgt, Alfred Carney, veteran of Korea, now in Walter Reed Army Hospital at Washington, D.C.;\u00a0 three daughters: Mrs. Arnet [Una] Brown of Pontiac,\u00a0 Mrs. Clyde [Edna] Gideon of Old Washington,\u00a0 Mrs. Audrey [Amy] Scroggins of Cumberland, N.C., two brothers: Jim East of Chattanooga and Lonnie East of Oak Ridge.\u00a0\u00a0 Mrs. Carney was converted at the Bethel Methodist Church, Rockwood, 50 years ago and remained a member until her death.\u00a0 Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Old Washington Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Hulen of Chattanooga, the Rev. J.L. Gates, pastor, and the Rev.
