WEEMS CEMETERY
Weems Cemetery is a community cemetery on State Highway 438 in the Spring Creek area of Perry County, Tennessee. The cemetery is well maintained. Most of the markers recorded below are on the west and east sides of the cemetery. The center has older markers and a lot of open area. There may be several dozen unmarked graves here. Further back is an area of fieldstone-marked graves.
David Donahue recorded Weems Cemetery February 10, 2001 and checked and updated it August 30, 2004. Mary Bowen and Melissa Bowen recorded this cemetery in 1992. Their record appears in Mary (Stewart) Bowen and Melissa (Snyder) Bowen, Perry County Tennessee Cemetery Records (Linden, Tennessee 1992. This is referred to as "Bowen" in the notes below.
