FLATWOODS CEMETERY
Flatwoods Cemetery, December 1999
This is the main cemetery serving the Flatwoods Community in southern Perry County. It is located directly on State Route 13. The cemetery is maintained well. The total number of unmarked and unidentified graves is somewhat difficult to estimate but probably numbers several dozen.
David Donahue recorded Flatwoods Cemetery December 30, 1999 and checked and updated ir August 31, 2004. Mary (Stewart) Bowen and Melissa (Snyder) Bowen recorded the cemetery in the early 1990s. Their record appears in Mary Bowen's Perry County, Tennessee Cemetery Records (Vol. I). This earlier record is referred to as Bowen in the notes below.
