years, as her mother was in feeble health and her father deserted his family by
going to Texas; wanted also to change the child’s name to ROSETTA REBECCA COX
and agreed to make her one of her heirs. The child’s mother, EMMA KING, agreed
to this petition. So allowed. December 3, 1883.
