THE JACKSON SUN, June 2, 1995, carried obit. for Kevin Dewayne Weatherford who died May 31 at Regional Medical Center of Memphis, Tenn. "He was born in Jackson, attended Jackson City Schools, graduating from Jackson Central-Merry High School and had attended Drama School in Nashville and dreamed of pursuing his career in New York. At the time of his death he was enrolled as a student at Memphis College of Arts." Weatherford, age 20, was survived by his mother, Carolyn Weatherford Dixie; grandmother, Mrs. Leta Weatherford; his sister, Karen Holt and two nephews, Josh and Jacob Holt.
