SHADY GROVE CEMETERY
Shady Grove Church is located on Shady Grove Road about 12 miles south of Jackson and about 2 miles east of Mercer. It is fenced and well cared for. It really lives up to its name because as you enter the gate you step into a shady grove of large cedar trees.
David Donahue recorded Shady Grove Cemetery April 30, 2004. The cemetery was recorded circa 1995. The recorders are not identified but it may have been three people. Their record appears in Cemetery Records of Madison County, Tennessee, Volume I The Southern Half of County (Mid-West Tennessee Genealogical Society, 1995, pp. 120-124.
