PLEASANT PLAINS BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY
The antebellum Pleasant Plains Baptist Church Cemetery is located on Pleasant Plains Road, 1.2 miles north Oil Well Road. The cemetery consists of a large semicircle of markers around an open area at the center. Almost every fieldstone ever here has been removed. The "open" area may be full of unmarked burials.
David Donahue recorded Pleasant Plains Baptist Church Cemetery August 25, 2004. A circa 1996 record of the cemetery appears in Cemetery Records of Madison County, Tennessee, Volume II, North Half of the County (1998), pp. 156-158.
