ST. PAUL BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY

            St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery is located in south-central Madison County about 4 miles northeast of Medon, Tennessee on west side of Medon-Malesus Road. There are many unmarked graves and numerous funeral home markers with information missing.

            David Donahue recorded this St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery on September 16, 2003 based on earlier work by Jonathan K. T. Smith. Mr. Smith's 1995 record for this cemetery appears in his Tombstone Inscriptions from Black Cemeteries in Madison County, Tennessee and a 2000 update appears in his Tombstone Inscriptions from Black Cemeteries in Madison County, Tennessee, Volume 2.
