BOBBITT CEMETERY
Bobbitt Cemetery is on the south side of Blair's Chapel Road. Most of the cemetery is between Blair's Chapel Road and a drive heading southeast into the woods; however 6-8 burials and 2 readable markers lie about 40 yards south of the drive and any other marker in the cemetery. The cemetery gets occasional mowing. Kudzu has invaded the cemetery's northeast corner. Three temporary markers without information can be seen amid the kudzu. David Donahue recorded this cemetery November 14, 2003.
Jonathan K. T. Smith recorded Bobbitt cemetery in 1995. It appears in his Tombstone Inscriptions from Black Cemeteries in Madison County, Tennessee. There is a 2000 update in Volume II.
