The following list of post-offices and post-masters, contributed by Abigail Hyde, was copied from the Official Registar of the United. States Biennial. The first publication after Lake County, Tennessee, was organized was the 1871 edition. Although Tiptonville was designated as the county seat of Lake County, Tiptonville was erroneously listed as being in Obion County until 1877.
