WADE H. SHELBY, administrator of DAVID BERGAR, Henderson Co., filed notice that the estate was believed insolvent; those persons with claims against the estate had until December 6, 1849 to file same with him.

This in Chancery Court; by decree, Feb. 1857, clerk and master was instructed to sell lots 8, 27 on the south side of the public square in Lexington, having been heretofore conveyed by HENRY and VAWTER in trust; sale would be held April 13, 1857.

RICHARD B. JONES, complainant versus JOHN R. ELLYSON, THOMAS C. B. JONES, J. W. G. JONES, C. M. HARMAN, H. McCLAMROCK, defendants; by decree of Chancery Court, Feb. 1857, the clerk and master was to sell lot 3 in Lexington on which a storehouse, warehouse and counting room were located; 3 other lots whereon CRAFFORD TAYLOR lived; another town lot, having been conveyed by ELLYSON and JONES in trust; sale would be held April 14, 1857.

December term, Chancery Court, Henderson Co. WILLIAM ABELDOUGLASS, administrator of WILLIAM ALEXANDER DOUGLASS' estate, complainant versus MOSES DUNCAN, JANE DUNCAN, JOHN P. DUNCAN, LOUISA DUNCAN, COLUMBUS G. DUNCAN, WILLIAM T. DUNCAN, AMERICA ANN DUNCAN, MARGRET JANE DUNCAN, JAMES S. TURNER, defendants. Original injunction. Al1 these persons except Turner were residents of Arkansas-this was notice that the case would be heard in court second Monday in February 1858.

FRANCIS M. DARDEN, EASTER KNOWLES, complainants versus GEORGE DARDEN, MARTHA PARROT and others, defendants. By decree, land in civil district 6 on the Bolivar Road was to be sold Feb. 13, 1858; 414 acres except the dower of TERMISHA, widow of MILLS DARDEN and 23 acres sold by MILLS DARDEN before his demise; also notice of sale of 4 slaves in the estate.

December term, Chancery court, Henderson Co. DAVID T. SPAIN, JOHN M. MEALS, complainants versus HARBERT W. WILLIAMS, JESSE GRAY, JOHN AUTRY, defendants. Injunction and attachment bill. WILLIAMS was a non-resident of Tenn.; this was notice that the case would be heard second Monday in February 1858.

A notice that on February 1, 1858 the slave, LUCY, aged about 21 years, would be sold by JOHN A. MOFFITT, deputy sheriff, Henderson Co., to pay debt of CREED D. McHANY.

WILLIAM B. HALL and W. C. McHANY, trustees, announced that they were to sell entire estate, real and personal, of C. D. McHANEY of Mifflin, Tenn. to pay his debts; those persons with claims on the estate should file same with them by April 1, 1858.
