UNION HILL CEMETERY
Union Hill Cemetery is located at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in southern Henderson County. The cemetery is well maintained. The older section of the cemetery lies south of the church. Its age is difficult to estimate because concrete blocks have been used to replace fieldstones and mark unmarked graves. In recent years newer burial have been made northeast of the church.
David Donahue recorded Union Hill Cemetery April 16, 2004. Blanch Buck recorded Union Hill Cemetery circa 1976. Her record appears in appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (R. H, Harris, Memphis, Tennessee, 1976), Vol. II, pp. 291-293. Blanch Buck's record is partially annotated; she provides many full names and maiden names not found on the markers themselves. Glenda Parchman also has made an annotated record of this cemetery, last updated May 20, 2000. Her annotation is available and can be accessed by clicking here.
