SPRING HILL CEMETERY
Spring Hill Cemetery is located on Spring Hill Cemetery Road southwest of Sardis in Henderson County, Tennessee. A number of graves are marked by concrete blocks but are otherwise unidentified. There are a couple of temporary marker plates with no information. Several unmarked graves are readily visible.
David Donahue recorded Spring Hill Cemetery on April 12 and 13, 2004. The cemetery has been recorded twice before. Anita Webb, Alicia Adcox, and Blanche Buck recorded the cemetery circa 1976. Their record appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (R. H. Harris, Memphis, Tennessee, 1976), Vol. III, pp. 647-653. Many entries by Webb et al. list only birth and death years instead of birth and death dates. Webb et al. noted "at least 57 unmarked graves" (this would have included the unidentified graves). Kimberly Parks recorded Spring Hill Cemetery May 2, 1999. In April 2004, her record was online at http://www.tngenweb.org/henderson/spr-hill.htm.
