Those names and dates (a goodly number of them) listed in the first volume of the HENDERSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE CEMETERY INSCRIPTIONS (1976) that the present compiler could not find in this cemetery, probably having been funeral home markers now missing or obliterated.
page 161:
INEZ COOPER, died July 20, 1943, aged 23 years
MARY FRANCES COOPER JONES, died Apr. 18, 1947
BARBARA McNEELY, died Nov. 4, 1957, aged 107 years
JOE DAVE SMITH, died Oct. 3, 1972, aged 71 years
MELVIN FLAKES, (died) Apr. 25, 1963The persons with names ROBSON, ROBINSON, ROBERTSON were buried in one row, likely members of the same family.
One entry "Codellitt Montague" died Nov. 5, 186l. This is almost certainly a tombstone that has been pilfered or has fallen and is buried in the soil and debris, with the birth rather than the death date given and the latterAate was just never inscribed after the person's death. That has happened many times.
