MT. CARMEL CEMETERY
Mt. Carmel is an abandoned cemetery off Union Cross Road about a mile north of State Highway 104.
David Donahue recorded this cemetery March 3, 2004. Beth White, Marie Pierce, Mamie Palmer, and Wilma Bolen recorded this Mt. Carmel Cemetery in 1976. Their record appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (R. H. Harris, Memphis, Tennessee, 1976), Vol. I, p. 74. This is referred to as White et al in notes below. They note "at least 30 unmarked graves."
