MT. ARARAT CEMETERY
This cemetery is located on the eastern edge of Henderson County about 5 miles north of the Darden community. The cemetery is very well maintained and is in use currently. This cemetery was recorded initially on December 28, 1990. It was updated September 6, 1992; December 23, 1993; January 1997; and February 3, 2001; and October 15, 2003.
Brenda Fiddler and Adelaide Lewis recorded this cemetery circa 1975. Their record appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (R. H. Fiddler and Lewis, Memphis, 1976), Vol. III, pp. 510-514. This earlier work is referred to as "Fiddler and Lewis" in the notes below.
