DYER CHAPEL CEMETERY

            This is a small cemetery at Dyer Chapel Church of Christ on Shady Hill Road at Dyer's Chapel Road just east of state highway 22. The cemetery is relatively recent, with the earliest marked burial in 1948. The cemetery grew slowly at first (6 burials in its first 30 years), but now is being used more frequently. David Donahue recorded this cemetery May 16, 1993 and checked and updated it October 20, 2003.

            Anita Webb recorded this cemetery circa 1975 when there were six graves. Her record appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (R. H. Harris, Memphis, 1976), Vol. II, p. 290.
