CROWELL CHAPEL
This cemetery is located on the south side of road from Middleburg to Decaturville, about a mile west of Flat Creek. There probably are under a dozen unmarked graves here, most probably Moodys. The cemetery is maintained very well. David Donahue recorded this cemetery February 12, 1991; updated it May 5, 1997; and checked and updated it January 15, 2002.
Mrs. Nina Rhodes recorded this cemetery circa 1974. Her record appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (Memphis, R. H. Harris, 1976), Vol. III, pp. 535-537. This earlier work is referred to as "Rhodes" in the notes below.
