CORINTH CEMETERY
Corinth Cemetery is located on Corinth Road about two miles north of Darden. My visits to this cemetery seemed jinxed. All I needed was to put my foot in the cemetery and the rain would pour on me. It took four trips from Knoxville with the recording spread over four days on three of those trips to get the cemetery recorded. Most of the work was done in the rain. This recording was made February 13, May 13, and May 14, 1991, and May 2, 1992. Checked and updated April 2001. Updated October 5, 2003 in the rain.
Alicia Adcox and Anita Webb recorded this cemetery circa 1975. Their record appears in Henderson County, Tennessee Cemetery Inscriptions (R. H. Harris, Memphis, 1976), Vol. III, pp. 515-524. This earlier work is referred to as "Adcox and Webb" in the notes below.
