MT. OLIVE CEMETERY
Located several miles southeast of McLemoresville, Tennessee; situated on west side of Independence Road about a mile from the juncture of this road with the McLemoresville Road. For generations there was a considerable black community here, taking its name from the Mt. Olive School; there were two churches, the Cumberland Presbyterian and the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (established by Reverend Levi Price); a Masonic hall — all gone. The Mt. Olive Cemetery was sometimes called the Presbyterian Cemetery.
