GREEN ALLEN CEMETERY
Located on the southeast corner of Green Allen Springs and Buena Vista roads about a half-mile from the juncture of the latter road with U.S. Highway 70 in Huntingdon, Tennessee. This burial ground surrounds the white Hawkins family graveyard, that of John H. Hawkins (1796-1852), a native of Bath County, Kentucky, his wife and their family. It was an obvious outgrowth of the white family's antebellum slave burial ground.
