JAMISON CEMETERY

At the eastern edge of Yuma, Tennessee turn north on Highway 424, after which almost immediately take an east (right) turn onto a gravel lane that leads east about .2 mile across Hopewell Branch, to a rise of ground on the north side of the lane on which the cemetery lies. The Gooch black family donated the land for the purpose of establishing a burial ground, principally for members of Hopewell Baptist Church.

According to Rev. R. B. Morgan (born July 1912) of Huntingdon, Tennessee, buried in this cemetery in unmarked graves are his maternal grandparents, Rob and Laura Crider; his mother, Bertha Crider, wife of J. W. Morgan, who died in 1938; also other relatives Jack and Miles Crider; Ocie Taylor Melton (sister of Floyd Taylor and niece of Laura Crider).
