They are thought to be, or are related to, the Amburn Family of Gilmer County, GA and Polk County,TN. On the back, some lines scatter at different places on the page, is written W. O. B. Pierce Ducktown, TN Polk Co., TN and Benton Polk County, TN.

Hellen & Minnie Howell

This photo is said to be
Hellen M. Howell Nicholson and sister Minnie.
Hellen is suppose to be the one seated. To date we cannot find a Minnie Howell on any record as being a sister to Hellen.
Could she be a Nicholson relative?

Mary Deaver

My grandmother has given me a photo of a lady named Mary Deaver/Deavers. This lady was related to the Roberson's. She was in Polk Co. in 1939 and helped deliver my Mother. She was an old lady then. I don't know if was a Roberson/Henson who married a Deaver/Deavers or if Deaver/Deavers was her maiden name??

Martha J. Worley

I believe this to be MARTHA J. WORLEY b. 1858, who might
have married a ROBERTS and lived in the Polk/Cherokee/NGeorgia
area. Written on the back of the picture was "Martha Roberts,
mother of John Roberts." The picture was in the possession
of Sara Elizabeth Worley Witherow McGill at her
death in Ducktown 1939. Sara was the daughter of Wootson B
and Rutha Weaver Worley. There is a striking resemblance with
pictures we know to be Sara. ANY information on these Roberts
